Unmet is a small Chrome extension for Chinese-speaking makers. It keeps translation and lightweight product research inside the Reddit reading flow, without turning the page into a general-purpose AI assistant.
What it does
Read Reddit in Chinese
Unmet places Chinese translations beneath the English posts and comments already loaded on the page.
Analyze a post when you choose
It summarizes the current discussion and looks for concrete problems, workarounds, and useful demand signals.
Stay grounded in the discussion
Unmet can say that no meaningful opportunity was found. It does not turn every complaint into a product idea.
Keep control of your data
Translation is local when Chrome supports it. AI requests happen only after an explicit action and use your own API configuration.
Local-first by design
Unmet has no developer-operated account system, business server, or remote database. Settings, API configuration, and caches stay in your browser.
AI retranslation and post analysis are sent directly to the compatible service you configure, and only after you ask Unmet to perform that action.
